Riotsports Quest School of Wrestling is doing their part. Jim Akerly, I should say, is doing his part. He’s making wrestling accessible to those who want to do it seriously. After working a day of his camp I’m reminded that it’s ok to be rough around the edges- to be yourself- when dealing with people. He’s respected by his kids and their parents. Quest isn’t for everyone. Or I should say it’s not for every parent. Although he’s not old enough to be “old school”, his teaching style is. Shut up and listen or you’ll get called out. Pay attention or you just might get humiliated in front of your friends.
