Episode #204
It's acceptable to go off course temporarily if it's intentional, thoughtful, and you know how to get back on track.
Clarity on your goals and awareness of when you're drifting enable timely course corrections and prevent unaware drifting.
Life domains are interconnected; prioritizing a short-term critical area can positively impact relationships, health, and overall well-being.
It's okay to go off course when number one, it's intentionally and thoughtfully done. And number two, if you know how to get back on course.
As long as you're aware, if you can be aware that you're off course, if you can be mindful, if you can have the presence of mind to know that you're off course, that's the first step. If you know how to get back on course, where the course is, that's the next step.
No area of your life stands alone, right? You can't be like super healthy and fit and not have that affect your relationship. You can't have a good work situation and have that not affect your health and wellness and your well-being. These things are all tied together, right?
Getting back on track. (20:34)
Do you ever feel like you’re off course? Maybe you went on vacation and can’t get back it the groove? Or maybe after traveling for work or after you get sick? Or maybe just when life throws a curveball at you… you have to finish a big project at work or dealing with some unexpected project at home. We all get off track. We all feel off balance at times. That’s why you have to have processes to help you get back in the groove when you get in a rut. I share exactly how to do that in this episode.
