Episode #164
Reclaim time by clearly identifying your highest-value tasks and lowest-value tasks across work and life, then double down on the former and minimize the latter.
Delegate and outsource aggressively (e.g., virtual assistants via Upwork or services like FIN) to free up time for family, fitness, and core work.
Use the "What if I had to?" question to force trade-offs and say no to distractions, and treat failures as feedback to iterate and improve.
Stop and identify your highest value tasks.
If you ignore this, you might as well stop the podcast right now and move on with your day.
My whole goal, my whole purpose of this podcast is to normalize failure.
What if you had another hour in your day? (29:12)
Do you ever wish you had more time in the day? Do you wish you could get more done but you’re always bogged down in the minutiae of life? Do you find yourself spending too much time on social media or watching sports or doing other low-value tasks? Most of us do and the result is that you drift through life, not living intentionally. You end up wondering why you are being pulled into mediocrity. You end up wondering why you’re not getting closer to your goals. In this episode, I share with you how I’m able to get so much done and a few tools, tactics, and tips on how to get more out of your time so that you can reclaim hours back in your day.
